Seed of the Day: Galvanic

As you can imagine, I get a word of the day from Doctor Dictionary.

The passed couple days I've received galvanic
1. Of, pertaining to, or producing a direct current of electricity, especially when produced chemically.
2. Affecting or affected as if by an electric shock; startling; shocking.
3. Stimulating; energizing.
and debouch
1. To march out (as from a wood, defile, or other narrow or confined spot) into the open.
2. To emerge; to issue.
3. To cause to emerge or issue; to discharge.
And I was immediately filled with an image of two warring gods, sort of a thor and loki type thing, where one destroyed everything the other tried to create.

And then I had an idea for a world devoid of fire, but with lightning in its place. What if the act of a stone striking against flint didn't just produce a single spark, but instead caused the spark to grow and arc into a field of lightning? What would a fantasy world look like then?

I don't know enough about physics to take this idea much further, but I do like the idea that all things are born from thunder and lightning and in between those moments is when the two gods of the world war with one another, in an attempt to create/destroy.

A world filled with storms.
